Born and raised in Kentucky, Henry’s natural desire to perform revealed itself early as he landed his first leading role in a school play at age five. By age nine, Henry was already involved in professional theater touring as “Winthrop” in “The Music Man” and later starring in an educational TV series with the late Ray Walston. About that time, Henry also made a personal commitment to Christ, and when asked in an interview if he wanted to act for a living, proudly proclaimed, “...if God wants performing to be my thing, then it will be my thing.”

After an extensive media career involving radio, TV, and advertising, Henry’s commitment to Christ and his love for the stage combined as he co-founded a Christian “sketch” comedy ministry called Images Creative Group. Images toured the country full-time for over ten years before retiring in 2000. Henry then worked in artist management for the next five years before setting out on his own to be a Christian speaker and humorist.

Henry has been sharing his story about his son, Pierce with “pregnancy centers” and churches across the country since the summer of 2005. His new book entitled Unexpected – Discover God’s Plan for You and Your Unborn Child was written specifically for “pregnancy centers” and anyone struggling with a “crisis” pregnancy. Unexpected is a powerful message of hope that communicates the truth that God has a plan and purpose for every life.

Henry is currently working on his “Masters in Theology” degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and plans to use his background to produce films that honor God and promote life. He also works with Pregnancy Support Services of Wake Forest helping them develop and implement marketing strategies to better reach young women who are pregnant.
In addition to speaking and writing, Henry is a full-time husband and dad. He currently resides with his family (Elizabeth & Pierce) in Wake Forest, NC near Raleigh.
